Top accessible Halloween events in Singapore

Who doesn't love a good Halloween celebration? We list some of the biggest and best kid-friendly events heading your way...

It’s the spookiest – and one of our favourite – times of the year… Halloween! Are you looking for spooktacular ways to celebrate this fun holiday? This October, the city will come alive with thrilling events for all ages. From haunted houses and spine-chilling mazes to family-friendly trick-or-treating and costume contests, there’s something for everyone. Our recommendations are guaranteed to come with a terrifying twist, so read on to find out more!

1. Gardens by the Bay

While not a dedicated Halloween "haunt," Gardens by the Bay often hosts seasonal events in its domes, which are known to be wheelchair accessible. In the past, they have featured Halloween-themed displays. You can enjoy the spooky atmosphere of the Supertree Grove and the Cloud Forest, which are both generally accessible, and check for any special themed events in the domes.

As of August 2025, there is no official information available about specific Halloween 2025 events at Gardens by the Bay. Gardens by the Bay has not yet released its event calendar for that time of year.

However, based on previous years, you can expect some form of festive programming around the Halloween period. Past events have included:

  • Horror-themed attractions: Sometimes in collaboration with other events like Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore.
  • Spooky installations: Themed decorations and light displays within the gardens.
  • Family-friendly activities: These often involve trick-or-treating or other kid-friendly events.

Since this kind of information is usually released closer to the event date, you should keep an eye on the official Gardens by the Bay website and social media channels in late summer and early autumn for the latest updates.

2. Haw Par Villa (Hell's Museum)

Welcome to Hell😂. Haw Par Hell Museum: For thousands of years, humans have been searching for answers to understanding and control over their destiny in a chaotic world. Eventually, they saw answers in the form of belief systems and religions. Hell’s Museum is the world’s first museum exploring perspectives of death and the afterlife from some of the world’s major religions and philosophies.

Haw Par Villa is well-known for its representations of the Ten Courts of Hell from Chinese folklore. It holds nostalgic significance for many Singaporeans who visited during childhood, as their parents used the opportunity to teach them about traditional Chinese morality. This was a fascinating part of the Haw Par Villa theme park in Singapore. It describes, in detail, the torture and punishment for each sin one commits in a lifetime.

While the older parts of the park may have some uneven terrain, Hell's Museum is noted as being wheelchair-accessible. For Halloween, Haw Par Villa sometimes hosts special events like “Haw Ror Villa,” which may have varying levels of accessibility. It's best to check with them directly regarding the accessibility of specific Halloween zones or trails.

3. Singapore Discovery Centre

Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to share the Singapore Story and inspire a desire to contribute to Singapore’s future. SDC provides a mind-and-heart-engaging, multi-sensory learning experience that spans a selection of integrated themes. SDC’s guests learn about what makes Singapore tick and gain insights into Singapore’s challenges, dreams, and aspirations. Based on previous years, you can expect some form of festive programming around the Halloween period. Past events have included:

  • Spooky Fun Halloween 2024
  • Harrowing Halloween 2023
  • Harrowing Halloween 2022
  • Harrowing Halloween 2021

The SDC often hosts family-friendly Halloween events with activities like craft sessions and self-guided trails. The center itself is a modern facility that is generally accessible. For specific Halloween events, it's a good idea to contact them to confirm the accessibility of all the event zones and activities, especially for things like "haunted houses" or trails.

4. Universal Studios Singapore (USS)

USS is a major theme park with a clear focus on accessibility. While their main Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) event is intense and has specific accessibility guidelines for each haunted house, the park also hosts a more family-friendly "Trick or Thrills" event during the day. The park's website provides detailed accessibility information for all of its rides and attractions, and you can inquire about the accessibility of their specific Halloween-themed offerings. Check out the upcoming Halloween events at USS (26 September to 1 November 2025) :

Halloween Horror Nights 2025: When the clock strikes 13, Hallows Night arrives, and so will every ghoul, creature, and demon filled with a hunger for human souls. With every tick, a new hellscape emerges. With every tock, demons creep closer to claim your soul. Here, your fate lies in the hands of time, and survival is just an illusion—whether you’ve descended into the Upside Down, gotten lost in a twisted wonderland, or gambled your life at the carnival of death. Will you escape the final chime, or will time seal your fate? Click here to learn more!

5. Halloween Night Luge at Sentosa

Are you afraid of the dark? Ditch the witch’s broom and take on the night at Skyline Luge Singapore, where the real thrills begin after sunset. Brave souls are invited to race through haunted tracks, cursed by shamanistic rituals and ghostly spirits. As you speed downhill, prepare for spine-tingling encounters with lurking figures, eerie lighting, and spooky smoke effects. Keep your eyes sharp as you navigate the bends – hidden scarers might jump out when you least expect it. More than your average luge ride, it’s a chilling descent into the unknown.

This event, which has run in previous years, transforms the popular Skyline Luge tracks into a spooky, haunted adventure. While the luge itself may have specific accessibility requirements (ie, wheelchair users will need to be able to settle transfer to the luge) , the general area and the Skyride are typically accessible. It's best to check with the Skyline Luge team directly for their latest accessibility policy and whether they have specific accommodations for the Halloween-themed rides.

Halloween Night Luge is available only on 18th & 19th Oct, 25th & 26th Oct, and 1st & 2nd Nov. Click here to learn more!

6. The Projector's Halloweenie Season

The Projector’s Halloweenie season of films is back, and this time it's the season of Halloween cult classics! Can you believe it's been 20 bloody years since Shaun and friends navigated a hilarious zombie apocalypse in SHAUN OF THE DEAD! Don't miss the 20th anniversary screenings! They also bring back CARRIE, the 1976 version, of course, where Sissy Spacek got her first Oscar nomination for Best Actress, playing the blood-soaked Carrie, in Brian De Palma’s classic adaptation of the Stephen King novel. And of course our favourite annual Projector Halloween event: The Glory Hoes present: The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's time to do the time warp again! More details to come on our Halloween Quiz Night on Wednesday, 23 Oct evening.

This independent cinema often hosts a "Halloweenie Season" where they screen classic and modern horror films. The Projector's venues, such as at Golden Mile Tower or Picturehouse, are known to be wheelchair accessible. This is a great, low-stress option for a Halloween outing that avoids crowds and physical challenges. Click here to learn more!

7. Singapore Symphony Orchestra: A Gothic Halloween

For a more refined and unique Halloween experience, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra has held "A Gothic Halloween" organ series. Concert venues like the Victoria Concert Hall are generally accessible, and this event provides a powerful and atmospheric way to enjoy the season without the intense scares of a haunted house. It's a great option for music lovers who want to get into the Halloween spirit.
